Explosion-proof heater

We design and manufacture explosion-proof heaters that require certification from the Industrial Safety Research Institute.

In our company, when installing "explosion-proof heaters" in hazardous locations, we design and manufacture them based on the "Guidelines for Explosion-Proof Electrical Equipment in Factories." Additionally, if certification from the Industrial Safety Research Institute is not required, we can also manufacture semi-explosion-proof types designed and produced in accordance with the explosion-proof guidelines. Please feel free to consult us if you have any requests. *Please note that general electric heaters on their own are not subject to testing under the explosion-proof guidelines, so we recommend that you undergo explosion-proof testing for the entire equipment or system that incorporates the explosion-proof heater. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Explosion-proof heater 【-60 to +180°C】

External temperature range: -60 to +180°C Protection level: IP68

Intertech today offers the most comprehensive range of explosion-proof heaters in the market, holding various global certifications such as IECEx, ATEX, CSAC US, TR CU (formerly GOST), and PESO. Our heaters are designed for flexibility in system configuration. They are certified by numerous international standards and are available worldwide in the form of individual heaters or enclosure configurations, significantly reducing design, system configuration, and maintenance costs. The operation of the heaters has been independently verified under conditions as low as -60°C, even in extremely cold environments, making it easier to design equipment for polar environments. If only simple protection against freezing is required, we recommend heaters with TS thermostats installed within the power supply cable, which operate independently and do not require control, providing a cost-effective solution. In cases where precise temperature control is necessary, or if the heater must operate and stop continuously, contact thermostats can be adjusted to approximately 2°C and are more effective at sensing air temperature. Alarm signals can also be provided.
